SHIPSCO Fightwear
SHIPSCO Fight began unintentionally in 2018 when I started the striking art of Muay Thai. I was not vibing with any of the available Muay Thai shorts designs at the beginning. I wanted something more personalized that showcased my personality. I knew there was room for more playful themes and designs. So I started sharing concepts and mockups on Instagram, and it led to connecting with a factory to produce my designs. SHIPSCO Fight was born.
At first I focused just on the design of the shorts, but I soon realized that I needed a strong visual identity and a strong strategy to get to the next level. I knew I needed help to get there so I collaborated with Jamie Cox, a brand strategist to more clearly define my audience, the brand’s tone of voice, and messaging.
After dialing in those things, I was able to talk clearly and directly to my people! It felt like everything fell into place, and the brand's visual identity naturally evolved. The result was a vibrant and authentic brand, a loyal following and a unique place in the market.
